Consider Yourself a Hero: Majority of games are beaten
I’ve enjoyed it a lot! I haven’t played the originals since the early 2000s so I’m not completely sure how they stack up to each other, but 4 feels like I remember the older ones feeling, but “newer”? I think the completion criteria is WAY harsher, but I’ve had fun with it just going for a beat.

For me? It was like 4 weeks, playing something like 10-20 hours per week. Probably could do it much faster if you’re actually good at the game, haha. Could take much longer if you consider finishing Cosmic Ocean a criteria for (I have not done that), but I called it good once I’d completed the journal and killed all the bosses.

I was just stopping by because I couldn’t remember if I ever replied to your comment (I did), and.... Ooooh, this theme!

I was really, really enjoying it (Ori and the Blind Forest)... Then I got stuck! It’s been so long now that I don’t even remember how/where.

The music and the game itself is beautiful, especially the creatures that sometimes lurk in the foreground. The story was interesting too, but sad. I really need to get back into it!

I do hope your battle against Bak’laag has been more successful than mine lately. I’ve been distracted from gaming... By the time I sit down and think of playing, it’s pretty much bedtime.

Actually, not at all!
I really liked World of Light. Probably mostly because I'm a nerd for obscure video game stuff, and this was just full of that. It was very exciting (for me) to see what random video game characters can I fight as spirits, and how they made that character into a Smash fight as accurately as possible. Actually, I think it's a huge missed opportunity how you can't redo any fight from the spirit list just for fun, it would be a cool substitute for trophy descriptions we don't have anymore.

All the other challenges were pretty manageable as well. None of them were impossibly hard. Sure, it wasn't incredibly hard to complete Smash 64 or Melee either (I did struggle with Melee back in the day, but that was mostly due to my inexperience), but I could only complete Brawl like 8 years after it came out because of those damn random stickers, I still couldn't complete Smash 3DS because those damn random Mii costumes, and I couldn't complete Smash Wii U because it had some truly insane challenges (like beat Classic Mode on the hardest difficulty without getting a game over under a time limit, with a specific character I'm not particularly good with). Some of Ultimate's challenges were tricky to do, sure, but none of them were impossible after a few tries.

Heheh! Me too!
Well, congrats on the recent Super Meat Boy clear and good luck on Star Tropics! Definitely a tricky one, that. I really need to replay that one of these days. There are some good memories there.

Haven't played as much as I'd like yet, but it looks great on PC and runs just fine.

I heard the same thing too before I started and was going into the game with low expectations but I really like the game so far. It's probably right up there with Bowser's Inside Story for me! Sure the game is clearly trying to over explain every puzzle and tutorial but the Mario & Luigi games have always been like that. It sure is a beautiful game though, some of the best 3d I've seen on the 3ds.
