Currently taking the ~POKEMON NUZLOCKE CHALLENGE~

Rules I'm using:
1. If a Pokemon faints, it is released. If the Pokemon was a serious bromon/generally awesome companion, it gets sent to the graveyard box instead. These boxed Pokemon are illegals and can not be used again.
2. ONLY the first Pokemon encountered in each new Route/city/area may be caught. If it is killed, runs away or otherwise is not captured, tough luck.
3. Duplicate rule: If the first encountered Pokemon is in the party or box (as a non-illegal, not as an illegal/dead) you may try again until you find something you haven't caught before. [NOTE: Duplicate rule only counted for the HG run; I am not using it for future runs to make things more difficult.]
4. ALL POKEMON MUST BE NICKNAMED.
5. If you white out and have no Pokemon in the box as backups, it's game over.
6. Poison bringing a Pokemon down to 1HP counts as a death.
7. Legendaries must be killed.
8. SHIFT battle style for training, but SET is mandatory for important fights (gym leaders, leet 4, Blue).
