☆★★★★ Fire Emblem Warriors is a vast improvement over Hyrule Warriors, I was initially worried we would be getting the exact same game. It is somewhat the same by looks, however underneath it all is a very addictive hack 'n slash game not only for Fire Emblem Fans but for Musou Fans too.

Sonic Forces
Even for $40 the entire game feels so much cheaper, I rather have quality over quantity

☆☆☆★★ Sonic Forces was a game that tried so much, yet lacked a lot of previous 3D Sonic Games content. Quality over quantity, there is rare instances that quantity could be a good thing. However, this game isn't really as solid as it should be especially after the reception that Sonic Mania game a few months prior.

I actually played some Mario x Rabbids on Switch last night, got past world 1 at last...but anyway, later that night I tried out two demos. One was Heroes of Monkey Tavern that looked a lot like Grimrock, and that was pretty fun. Next was that Project Octopath one, and that was a ton of fun, I cannot wait until the full game comes out, I looove oldschool RPGs. I've actually recently beaten Asdivine Hearts on PS4, which is a Kemco RPG, and I recently picked up some of their other stuff. I'm not sure what it is about old style RPGs, but they're easily one of my all time favorite genres...even if they can be kinda long most of the time (I think Super Mario RPG was the shortest one I've ever played)

I never really got into the Fatal Frame games, I must admit, I got kinda turned off to non-RE horror games when I was a preteen, I had the brilliant idea of playing Silent Hill 2 on PC with headphones at night alone when I was 12, and...noped right out of there. I'm still a bit of a wuss when it comes to bigger horror games, even Oxenfree makes me a bit uneasy, and I can't handle Amnesia...but I have gotten around to beating the first Dead Space and Until Dawn (and obviously RE7), so I guess progress? I might be interested in getting the Wii U version of Yakuza HD just for my collection, but I'd need to hack my WiiU or something, fucking Nintendo being region locked on everything until the Switch. I have HD on my PS3, but I suppose I don't give it a second look now, given I have Kiwami, and most likely Kiwami 2 in the next year.

Adventure 1 and 2 were pretty great, but I kind of really hate Amy and Big's stories. Actually, Knuckles/Rouge's (1 and 2) levels don't really bother me at all, nor do Tails/Robotnik's (2), though Tails' in 1 are not really the best for me. I think my favorite 3D games are actually probably Generations and Colors. I didn't hate Lost World, but it definitely had its really bad parts (Frozen Factory), and I just beat Forces, it wasn't really bad at all, just...kind of hollow, and the levels felt way too short. I still need to beat Heroes, but it's pretty low on my list, probably? I haven't been able to progress much because of glitches, either me falling through the floor on boss fights, or not being able to grab onto rails that I should be able to. I kind of hated the Riders series, and I remember not liking Secret Rings either, though I hear Black Knight may be better?

These were my Halloween banner and avatar [Link] [Link] I really don't know if I'll do special themes for many other holidays, but obviously for Christmas it'll probably be either Sonic or Yakuza Christams fanart, though I've seen way more Sonic Xmas art, so maybe that. It's been that for the past couple years.

I actually really really loved Warcraft III and TFT. World of Warcraft was neat at first, but eventually I realized it's really boring unless you're raiding, and that's a huge time sink and not really worth it. I regret spending 5 years of my time on it. It makes me sad that we'll probably never get an actual Warcraft IV RTS, there's no way I'm going back to WoW, even if the lore is great.

I mean, I did like RE CV's different locale I suppose, honestly it never really bothered me too much that all the other games at the time were in Raccoon City, I guess cause they didn't really seem to me like the areas were too samey, outside of the obvious Laboratory at the end of 1 and 2 (and 0), like, yeah the beginning of RE2 seemed kinda samey as RE3, but that was because it was in the Raccoon City streets like most of RE3. Once it got to the Police Station and on, it kinda lost that "samey" feel to me. I dunno, I was honestly never really bothered by the heavy focus on Raccoon City in the original 3. Actually, I read that Code Veronica was supposed to be the real 3, and RE3 was just supposed to be a sidestory. Obviously because of the end of RE3, I don't really know how true that is, since it's a pretty serious thing that happens, but RE3 did feel a lot like a sidestory to me. CV actually had Wesker and just felt like a proper sequel, especially given we got Claire and Chris again, and it just seemed a lot more like a main RE game to me than RE3 with mainly just Nemesis, even the name of the game sounds like a side story, Last Escape/Nemesis, whereas the other games didn't have any subtitles, which obviously they added CV's after they decided to make it a non numbered entry. Supposedly the reason they made RE3 RE3 rather than a subtitled side game was that Capcom had some stupid thing where they had to have all numbered main games on Sony platforms, and CV was obviously on Dreamcast. I don't know what the deal with that is or if it's even true, considering they went ahead and did RE0 and RE4 on Gamecube a few years later.

My Dreamcast is region free, so I got the disc of that, CV LE, and RE2/RE3 JP. I have beaten RE2 more than enough times and am generally so very familiar with it that I can play the JP version pretty easy. I actually have RE1 JP for Saturn (also PS1, but I haven't played that much cause I moved my PS1 in my bedroom for lightgun games with my CRT), and I do pretty well there, except for some puzzles like the picture one where it has text, or the V Jolt, and I'm not really as familiar with RE1 as RE2 to do those without guides. Also, RE1 JP Saturn seems to have WAAAY more aggresive Hunters, I had to stop playing for a while because I couldn't progress without Hunter decapitating me at one point or another, I've actually never seen that attack in other versions of the game, including when I streamed on Backloggery Live here

Minion of Bak'laag: 100+ unfinished games
Recently went through some of my Wii and Wii U Virtual Console games changing some from to their respective original versions status of either . There is a reason for it, because I gotten multiple copies of the same game for several different reasons.

Some of the obvious being on the Wii Virtual Console they were used mostly for having a superior version of the same game for more convenience when I was moving around from place to place it was easier to just have a Wii with all the games on there to occupy my time. Other then that I used to practice speed run strats to potentially speed run them. However since honestly I refer back to their original versions nowadays they are just there occupying space being left either , so I took it upon myself from this day forth if I have multiple copies of the same game with no major changes they will be counted as the same exact game.

However this rule is different for certain games, for example Fatal Frame II on the PS2 is different than the Xbox Version not just visually. The Xbox Version has additional content exclusive to the PS2 version, so if I were to say the PS2 Version the Xbox Version will be left unchanged since it has additional content that makes it unique compared to the PS2 Version.

I still have to go through the rest of my Backloggery to update a few others and add some more Wii Virtual Console games that I had since left out for odd reasons.
