I'm probably not the best person to ask about Yakuza. I do know that Yakuza Kiwami is pretty cheap nowadays, so it wouldn't be a huge loss if you got it. Oh, you already have it. Well, do go for it if you want more Yakuza.

It’s been a lot of fun! GOW3 Remastered was a great way to replay the game, as I hadn’t played it since it originally released. Ascension is not one of the better games in the series but still enjoyable. And the new GOW is easily the best game I’ve played this year so far. I finished the game and was going to go for the platinum but decided against it for now since it would require going back through with a guide for all of the collectibles. I may go back later and do that though. Really looking forward to seeing what they do with the next game now.

XBC2 was a great game! Loved it. The Switch is really going places. Great that it's selling well More games for us.

They added the usual options and what not. Their interface is way better than the ACA Neo Geo games. Fake scanlines look way better.

The Limited Run print of Wonder Boy shouldn't be any different than the asian version that has english. There's also a physical version of it coming out in asia this year for Switch. If you really want the Limited Run version though, you should be able to get it for under $50 on ebay, though the collector's edition is way more. It has a reversible cover, one side is really similar to the Master System original box.

Ah hell, Limited Run games released a physical of Wonder Boy? Looks like I won't be getting it anytime soon.

METROID MARATHON WEEK! Beat NES Metroid today, starting Zero Mission; after that is Metroid II..... planning to be done with those 3 by Friday when Samus Returns! (After that I will play AM2R, so I can deeply analyze the differences between remakes etc)
I have to say, I actually never beat NES Metroid. I never got into Metroid until 2002, in the pre-launch hype for Prime & Fusion I played Super Metroid the month prior. So I spent maybe an hour or two trying out NES Metroid as it was an unlockable on Metroid Prime. I found it to feel really clunky and dated after playing Super Metroid. I'm so glad I gave it another shot, because I found it WAY more enjoyable this time, it is still an amazing classic, had such a good time. Zero Mission's existence doesn't lessen the greatness of the original, and it was particularly amazing for how it propelled game design forward for it's time.

Started collecting PSVR titles. I am super interested in VR, just not willing to cough up the entry fee just yet; waiting for that to come down a little more first. But a bunch of PSVR games were dirt cheap, couldn't pass on them.

After putting a lot of time into Rodea the Sky Soldier on 3DS, I can safely say that I think it(and Wii U version, since they're basically the same) is actually a good game. It may not be as good as the Wii version it was based on, but if you can get past the learning curve with the controls, it's still really good. But it can take a few hours for it to truly "click".

Alphadia Genesis ended up being really, really good and set a bar for plenty of character interaction and development on those RPGs. Asdivine Hearts is also on WiiU, but I didn't know that until after I got the PSN version, and it's pretty good so far since it's also another good case of character development through normal interaction and talking things out.

Grinsia set a good bar for what to expect from the kemco mobile RPGs ported to 3DS: Simple, old school charm presentation while being surprisingly deep in its systems and stories.

The only major failure the game had was Nicialis doing a crap job on the porting that required two major patches to fix game-breaking bugs.
