5-Star: A game I couldn't put down and will gladly replay it.
4-Star: A game I enjoyed overall and remember fondly.
3-Star: Was worth playing once, but doubt I'll replay.
2-Star: Either not very enjoyable or one that's forgettable.
1-Star: A game that evokes all of the wrong kinds of memories.

I count Book of Shadows as one of the most effective and terrifying games I have ever played/read. The original Corpse Party's great and scary and all, but the intense, gruesome detail of all of the horror going on in BoS, especially the bad ends like being graphically described the experience of being beheaded and how, realistically, your consciousness WOULD persist long enough for you to see your own headless body plummet to the ground while you just helplessly perished...

I love that game to pieces. Voice acting is real good too. I totally recommend you listen to the VA commentary in the extras menu when you're done all the stories, it's a fun time.
