It's totally ok if you're not feeling it with Kingdom Hearts. The series is very hit or miss with people. I was mostly drawn into the series due to the Final Fantasy characters and just the oddness of both that and Disney characters co-existing together kinda blew my young mind. The first game definitely has it's flaws. The platforming was irritating at best, and the worlds stories were definitely lackluster, but the game had a story to tell and I wanted to hear it through to the end.

I found myself wanting to know more by the end of it, and I will admit you may enjoy the 2nd game better than the first. The story is darker and better told, and I felt as though the gameplay had definitely gotten better. (As for the camera and the remakes, it's pretty much the same except that you can control it with the right stick).

I never cared much for the gummi ship points of the game. The whole building system was confusing and I just never bothered to do anything to my ship, lol. But I will admit I did enjoy how they handled it in KHIII.

I don't think you're being unfair. I can see where you might feel pressured by the hype but it's perfectly ok if you don't enjoy it. As I said before, this is one of those series that's hit or miss with people.

If you want my honest opinion, I'd try to at least play through to KHII and if you still aren't enjoying it after one or two worlds, I'd just call it a day and say that it's just not the game for you, which is perfectly ok.

The Japanese physical release has English on the cart! It even has the English language game titles and logos on the game select screen! There's no physical version for America, so importing the Japanese version is a great option.

Episode V or VI?
I cheated the hell out of StarCraft back in the day. I've since ascended to mediocrity and am doing it legit. (Can't remember if I said that already.)
But with my computer out of commission that'll have to wait. Super Smash Binge Bros. it is, then.

Median XL is a total conversion that runs off the existing executable, so I would install a fresh copy of D2 in a separate folder to associate with any mods you want to try just in case

I'd say the biggest draws of the Median XL mod include the way class skills have been revamped allowing for a variety of viable options across all characters like a crossbow Necromancer, melee Sorceress, etc.
Along with a reworked equipment and crafting system that makes it possible to create gear that can be more useful than unique items, and an expanded endgame with different types of dungeons and rifts as something to do besides running Baal over and over.

From what I've seen and played so far, Median XL more than irons out the nitpicks I had with the base game as mentioned above and lives up to its top-shelf reputation

Thanks! I've been doing them for a couple years now. It's a nice reflection on some aspects of what I played that year, and I love stats and tidbits of that nature. I suspect that Shortest Game and Easiest Beat are going to have frequent cross-over. I hadn't recorded previous years, but I'll start keeping track of that to see if they get too redundant as categories.

If you like that kind of listing and appraisal, I recently made a new addition to the bottom of my page note, where I put the best game I've beaten for each letter of the alphabet. I was only able to completely fill the alphabet after this past year (X-COM was the last one to fill a letter).

Confused: Playing 10+ games at once
I know most people are haters but yes, I had a lot of fun with it... I made 2 teams and ended up never needing the back up team lol but you do need to grind a lot which is where I think a lot of people got turned off. Plenty of loot and crawling though. A few gimmicks here and there and a rather hefty post story list of things to do... too much in fact, I stopped after the story. Gameplay itself was simple but it was a jrpg style so you expect that going in but lots of equipment and mods and spells... it’s not the best game ever but fora budget game on the OGXB it’s at least worth a playthrough. If you want a however, you should probably look elsewhere.

It is kind of Microsoft's attempt at competing with Steam. Although it has been having mixed results thus far. Loads of free to play titles on there such as Microsoft Solitaire Collection(with XBL achievements!). They are slowly starting to take it a bit more seriously by remastering the Age of Empires series(AoE 1 remastered is out now), and Gears of War Tactics will also be coming exclusively to Windows 10. And the sales have been getting better, the Christmas/New Years sales were pretty decent(I scored Rise of the Tomb Raider for only 9.99! It is at least worth having a look.

Of Course I would notice. I'm probably the only one pushing you away from the . Who knows? Maybe another game will be Beaten this year? Crazy Idea! 4 in one year? Pure Madness.

Though, I am jealous of your ability to house 2200+ games. That's like an entire bedroom full of games.

Thanks! I do agree that some more gameplay footage will be a benefit. I mostly passed on it in order to get the video out because I didn't want to lose motivation.

I don't think my future videos will be as long either, but definitely will try to add some extra gameplay or variety in as I go. It's odd, I don't have any desire to grow my channel in a significant way, but I would like the small handful of people that enjoy it or share my tastes to have a good experience when they watch!

Thanks again for checking it out, always happy to share and chat about cool games with cool people

Glad you'll be into it and thanks for checking it out! I'll definitely keep releasing some other videos. I've had an itch to talk about some of the stuff around the game room and some of the games I pick up, and most sites like BL, Instagram, Twitter, etc. don't really give me the space to say everything I want to!

And that's awesome about the Chrono Cross clock! I never got one when the game released but I remembered seeing it at the time. So years later I came across one and instantly remembered it. Honestly I was surprised having forgotten it at all. It's definitely a cool and unique promo piece, and I'm glad you were able to grab one again after losing your first one!
Thank goodness you've returned! Much has changed since you lived here, my friend.
