★★★★★ I feel like there's a lot of hidden depth here. Loved the story, characters, and battle system. Field exploration was the only semi-negative, as it wasn't very engaging, but everything else was excellent.

I've pretty much been playing this on and off since October 2017. Currently messing about with Naggarond campaigns

★★★★★ The current entry in what will be the most awesome trilogy of games of all time I'm sure. Each game absorbs the map of the last, so they are a little like more advanced expansion packs. I honestly think, if I had to pick a single-player game to play for the rest of my life, this might be it - at least, once the third game is out and all its DLC is released. As of July 2018, there are 2 campaigns, 14 different unique races. and 37 unique start positions...just a massive amount of content.

On the level of RE4? In a lot of ways, I would, yeah. I feel a compulsion to play it again and again and really get to know it in a way that I haven't felt since RE4 (and RE5, I really love that one too, don't care what anyone thinks).

Well, if nothing else, the Resident Evil 2 remake is pretty freaking great!

I quite like it, to be honest! It started a bit slow, and I felt like it was taking a long time to make any progress, but after a few hours I felt like the pace picked up a good bit. There are only 5 worlds it seems, but they're quite a bit larger than anything on N64, and they can be expanded into a larger version of the world with much more to do after you collect enough stuff. This is pretty neat, but also makes me feel like I don't want to spend too much time doing stuff until I've expanded it. The game has plenty of rough edges, and it's clear they didn't have the time and budget they really needed for it. But I think it's still successful at what it tries to be. It's a game about poking your head in every corner, discovering things, and figuring out how to get them. I think it's quite successful in achieving that. In a lot of ways I think it's also more flexible in letting the player come up with their own solutions and ways to approach exploration than Banjo, which was more restrictive in my opinion.

Well, I can't imagine him becoming easy without holy water! Actually getting to him with holy water is a bit of a challenge itself though.

I think I've 'unlocked' almost all the s. links at this point. I just met the 'devil' nurse so that one is new but I've been got all my party members up to level 7 or higher at this point.

For reference I just opened up the dungeon for rescuing Naoto.

Comparing to Persona 3, they really streamlined the s. link process. It's not that it's any easier, necessarily, but for some reason, it just feels better. It's odd cause the story in Persona 3 was good, but the mechanics are a bit wonky esp compared to Persona 4.

A lot of things have happened in the last year or so. Job, relationship, traveling, Switch launch, the works! So I've been just working on the backlog here and there now that things are still in motion.

Well, actually, right now my S. Link with Rise is the highest. I kinda default to that since I guess the game sorta wanted me to go that route (you know given that her link was the Lovers Arcana).

Chie's nice and all but not really my type. Yukiko maybe, but not Ai or Ayane.

The odd thing about the game, is how interesting the social aspect of the game is. When I first heard about the social aspect of Persona (in this case it was Persona 3), I thought it sounded boring. The reality is that it is actually quite interesting to see the various stories of each character unfold. It kinda reminds me a bit of Valkyrie Profile where you'd see these little stories about the characters you were about to go recruit. However, with Persona, you get to take an active role in the various character's stories, which makes it more compelling.
Intensity. Integrity. Intelligence. Bak'laag.
