'Ne ganze Menge Nostalgie also. Ich verstehe das gut, ich habe da auch so einiges an schöne Kindheit Erinnerungen, weniger mit Shadows of the Empire als mit dem Nintendo 64 als ganzes. War halt meine erste eigene Heimkonsole. War damals für mich einfach das non-plus ultra.

Cool, dass mein Theme dich getriggered hat. Was es damit auf sich hat... Lynxie [Link] hat mich motiviert mal öfter wieder mein Theme zu verändern, und so habe ich lange nachgedacht was ich als Theme gerne hätte... und wie es immer so ist, konnte ich mich nicht für EINS entscheiden. Also habe ich gedacht, ich mache eine Serie an Themes, die von den Spielen inspiriert sind, die ich in meiner "Gamer Karriere" gespielt habe, und die mir besonders im Gedächtnis geblieben sind. Also, positiv.
Dieser Rückblick wird also die nächsten X themes begleiten...

Star Wars Shadows of the Empire habe ich als erstes ausgewählt, aber ohne besonderen Grund tatsächlich, einfach so, weil ich es auf einer Excel Liste die ich führe ziemlich weit oben hatte, und ich es vor kurzem nochmal durchgespielt hatte (September 2022). Die 7 ist meine "Note" für das Spiel. 7/10
(Die Note findest du ja auch in meinem Backlog wieder, bei den N64 Spielen )

Bist du ein fan von der Shadows of the Empire Storyline? Ich habe im September tatsächlich überlegt ob ich mir das Buch bzw. die Bücher dazu hole, aber ich habe dann auf mein Bücher Backlog geschaut, und es mir sehr schnell anders überlegt

Have you played Super Mario Bros3mix?

I just picked it up on a bootleg cart. It's a fan hack, but the scale and depth of it is astonishing. It uses the Super Mario bros 3 engine but has worlds based around the entire Super Mario series from the first game through to galaxy.

If you liked how those e-reader cards mix it up then you'd probably enjoy this...

Interesting to read about the ereader functionality in SMB 3. I had no idea about that till I saw your post. How easy is it to obtain the necessary cards and how many are there?

How can you beat a game without even playing it? Hitting the cartridge with a hammer?

I stick to the traditional system of scoring games on the Backloggery. The words are no longer displayed, but I'm very sure they were like this:

1 star -> Bad
2 stars -> Decent
3 stars -> Good
4 stars -> Great
5 stars -> Outstanding

My feelings on games that I gave two stars actually depend on the game. If I get a game like Dead Pixels for the price of a fried sausage and play through it in a single evening, I'm not displeased with my purchase, but I still can't justify giving it more than 2 stars. But if I pay full price for a console game and end up giving two stars, consider me pissed.

After looking over my Steam ratings once more I don't see any games that I've been particularly mean to (well, the 2/5 for Recettear is maybe a little harsh, but the game deserves it for its incredibly frustrating design choices). Keep in mind that about half of those games simply found their way into my collection through things like the Humble Bundle, so I never really wanted them in the first place, and there are some that I may rate higher once I've spent a lot more time with them. Many of the games I have an actual interest in I haven't even played yet, because I want to play them when I have the time and am in the right mindset.
I plan to write comments for all the Steam games I beat. It's actually nice to read through those after a year or two.

And don't worry about Jamestown, I added most of my Steam library on autopilot and acidentally added Jamestown twice, so I deleted the duplicate entry. I've already said before that I list all downloadable games for as long as I have the means to redownload them.

So, I've probably re-joined the Backloggery about as many times as my aunt has stopped smoking by now, but I synched everything up once again. The only things that are missing are PSN games that I currently do not have downloaded to my PS3, and the few games I bought on GOG. I mainly just wanted to be able to keep track of my Steam library, which has exploded in size since I got a job and a new PC.

And yes, I really do not own any retail Wii U games at this point.

Also, does anyone intend to fix the signatures ever again? I wanted to use it, but i do NOT want to put a banner in my signature that says I have started playing "The Great Arts Race". Just no.

EDIT: Okay, I've figured out what it does and forced it into displaying a proper game.
