Many apologies for the late reply. Glad the time off school has been good for you, sounds like it has been worth putting graduation off for a bit. Great that you have supportive classmates, it certainly helps!

Sorry I haven't managed to catch a stream yet. I did see you were on a few weeks ago but I had to go out and didn't really want to be like 'Hi! Catch you later!' Happy to hear you've been enjoying it Hopefully I can join a stream soon, should be able to make it on my two weeks off work at least!

I hope everything's okay. Great! I will hopefully be able to catch some streams, always tricky with the time difference! I do have two weeks off over Christmas/New Year's so I should, at the very least, hop on then (assuming you're streaming at that time!). I hope your break from school gives you the respite you need Cool, sounds like fun!

I can imagine. Understandable, I will definitely keep an eye out for when you're on

Definitely! Did you want to hear more when I catch a Twitch stream? It'd be cool to do it in real time, bu I don't want to dominate the stream talking about my holiday! I'd be interested to hear about your time in Japan, too!

Sorry about the late reply, not been well for a bit. Better now, though!

I get you, hope you can get it all done by July (which will probably be here before we know it!). Cool, I will have to try and jump in! Haven't been on Twitch in a while, hopefully I can catch up with you!

I did the MariCar course in Shibuya (dressed as Mario!), went to Akihabara, visited a few shrines, did a fair bit of sightseeing, got some unusual Kit Kats and fell in love with melon soda Fanta I stayed in Shibuya for five days and Shinjuku for five days. I've been saving to go again next year in December and hopefully go to Kyoto and Osaka. Do I remember correctly that you lived in Japan for a time?

Glad to hear it! Is school going well (despite being scary!)? Do you still get a chance to do some streaming? Thanks! TinyPic disappeared so I was forced to update it I've been pretty good! I went to Japan back in January, my first time overseas, that was a lot of fun! Aside from that, it's been business as usual.

Really? Of anything I owe that's the lowest! I didn't think it was that bad....But since I have paid down so much of it far faster than I was supposed to, they at least won't get all of their money.

One of those debt counselors has occurred to me, but paying someone else to do something when I already don't have money seems a little bit counterproductive. I get a lot of offers from those debt negotiation places but my understanding of that is that they will totally wreck my credit in the process. So that's a no go. Oh well, gotta figure it out I guess.

Yeah the WiiU is awesome. Most people just didn't give it a shot I think. Me? I was on board the second they said "Bayonetta 2". Maybe they found the gamepad confusing. I get the feeling though, that as time goes on the Wii U will start to shoot up in value. They never managed to get standalone Gamepads into stores so when those start breaking down or running scarce, things will get expensive I think. But it has a lot of good games...the N64 just kinda has a few.

Heh, an Atari! I was under the impression that Atari stuff wasn't that expensive though. But I guess hooking it up to modern hardware has to be an absolute NIGHTMARE. I never really looked into that one. I had an Atari 7800 when I was really little, but I don't remember enough games to be really nostalgic.

I am actually fairly interested in that TurboGraphix-Mini if Konami doesn't do what Konami always does and ruins it somehow. I'm debating if a simple Raspberry Pi setup wouldn't be better though. Certainly more economical but I don't get the authentic controller...decisions. I gotta do research first...and have money lol...

Well the loan I'm currently paying actually has the lowest interest rate of anything I owe (8%), it just has the highest minimum payment I have to meet every month. So I'm trying my damnedest to get rid of it. Most of what I'm hearing is that I owe too much to consolidate. Which doesn't make any damn sense! All that debt is no longer on my head and I'm only paying you if I do this you idiots! I may just have to do this the hard way.

Yeah the N64 never really interested me. It's got like 5 really good games. (Though to be fair, they are REALLY good) And most of those have been ported or enhanced on some other hardware. I don't see a lot of reason to seek one out. But if you are happy with your setup I can't really argue. This is definitely one of those things you don't really notice until you start looking for it you know? (The same thing happened with my Blu Rays...I can't unsee judder now) But some of these aftermarket retro devices are starting to get REALLY cool. Have you seen this thing?

What that is, is an FPGA based Sega CD hardware cartridge. As close to real hardware as you can get without having one. So can play Sega CD game images on ACTUAL hardware without the expensive and VERY prone to failure Sega CD unit. Especially the Model 1 front loader. Find one of those that still works. I dare you. And since the actual SCD games are absurdly expensive on ebay and everywhere else, this solves that problem too. After all, I've really just wanted to play Popful Mail forever. It's pricey but for a one time expense vs the expense of buying the games and maintaining the actual unit that seems like an excellent deal if it works correctly. (And early reviews are saying it's brilliant) Totally think I'm gonna get one.

Yeah, I've played through the original Simon's Quest with a guide. But it's kind of a slog. But it's got Bloody Tears! Excellent song. You should get Castlevania Chronicles and play it on Original Mode. That is probably as difficult as the 2D games get.

Well I'm certainly not saying that I'm captain perceptive and I can read the deeper meaning in everything. I totally can't. I just like to let go and experience something the best I can if I'm enjoying it. Sometimes it leads to interesting results. Like totally almost crying at the end of Gunslinger Girl. Never happened. You can't prove anything.
