I've had my Backlog Beaten achievement taken so that I can re-earn it for reals. 80+ games... I bet I can do this.

I've decided to come back to Backloggery after a year of absence. School combined with a job doesn't really leave much room to game or update this thing! I've got quite a number of games to add and hopefully this doesn't up my amount to a crazy level (it kinda already is). It's time to do some more backlogging! (Assuming people will see this...implying people will have me in their multitap still... )

Haha it seems we are! Disgaea is awesome, but I've only played the first two tutorials yet. They just threw so much information at me at once and I was like okay whatever, gonna have to take a look at that later.

How much progress have you made? I really like Mao by the way, haha.

Ah Okay. My opinion on the game is that it's really great. It's very comparable to Virtue's Last Reward (storywise). A couple of people who don't know each other get locked up and that's when the magic starts happening. I enjoyed the way the class trials were set up (Ace Attorney could learn a thing or two about those trials).

The only reason I rated this game just a little bit lower than Virtues Last Reward is that this was more predictable. Many mysteries were clear to me some moments before you needed to start thinking about it. Virtue's Last Reward, on the other hand, was way more shocking.

Still, Danganronpa does an excellent job. Interesting characters, interesting setting, enough mysteries, huge climax + it copied gameplay elements from great game series such as Persona and Ace Attorney. It was surprisingly good, better than I did except it to be!

Danganronpa is amazing. I knew it was a visual novel game before I bought it, but I didn't really look into the story. I don't know if you've ever played 999 or Virtue's Last Reward or any installment in the Ace Attorney series? I think Danganronpa is very comparable to one of these games, especially Virtue's Last Reward (regarding the ambience, story and gameplay).

If you've never played a visual novel game before, you might still like it. Danganronpa might be comparable to Persona 4 Golden (from your now playing list). That's because Persona 4 Golden is a story based JRPG with a lot of reading involved. Danganronpa's got three main gameplay elements: Walking, Reading and Thinking. It's absolutely NOT an action based game. Maybe you should watch some gameplay videos on youtube, that'd give you a good idea of its gameplay.

I was just browsing around on backloggery and I saw that you'll be getting Persona 4 Golden for Christmas, Persona 4 is my favourite game of all time and I hope you'll really like it.

Btw, you're getting Innocence R for the Vita? I thought it wasn't going to be released in Europe/US? Or are you gonna buy the Japanese version?

Have you played Chrono Trigger? It's the best RPG ever.

VLR and P4G are undoubtedly the best Vita games. Also New Little King's Story surprised me very positively.

Yeah I heard em. It's not about making noise tho, the Vita needs to sell in Europa before Namco's going to make their move. Sony really needs to push the Vita harder. There's hardly any games for the console, I'm not looking forward to ANY of the Vita games. Only Final Fantasy X is worth it (in the near future) but that's coming to the PS3 as well.

Haha I can understand you. Combat is great in Talesgames, but... there's a lot of dialogue in them so that might be kind of boring. I know how difficult it is to understand. When I was 8 years old, playing Pokémon Gold on my GBA, I didn't speak English at all. Guess I'm still stuck at sleepy Snorlax...

Yes indeed! Gonna finish Graces, then move on to Xillia (assuming that the new Zelda isn't out by then).

It's a pity some of these games will never see daylight in Europe... PSVita has two Talesgames but Namco refuses to release them outside of Japan because the Vita doesn't sell. Even though you don't understand, Talesgames are really about gameplay (story isn't really that intruiging) so it should still be fun

Okay well that's great. I really like Xillia's combat system so Xillia 2 will be awesome
