The games I never owned, plus the games I once owned but now own again are keepers. The rest are duplicates and will fench me a bit of cash when I resell them at Fallout Games whenever I get the chance to go to their shop on West Bell Road (here in Phoenix, AZ). I've already re-sold the NES and SNES consoles since I own the RetroN 3 and RetroN 5, but I kept the PS2 Slim as a backup console if the event happens the USA-region Fat PS2 I have breaks down.

Thank you! I'm happy to hear that you enjoy it To be honest I don't do much else besides gaming, so that's why I can sink so many hours into my games fairly quickly. Besides reading and gaming I don't have other hobbies and I'm a couch potato, therefore my weekends are spent playing games for the majority of the time, too. Furthermore working from home for 3 days each week really helps as well. That alone saves me about 2 hours every day I otherwise would have spent commuting in pre-Covid times

Yooo you played and loved Tales of Graces!? I have to speak up now, cuz that is in my top 5 favorite games ever, man! I played thru that whole game co-op with my best friend back in our school days, its one of my most cherished game experiences. There's just not that many co-op JRPGs like it, other than the rest of the Tales games, but Graces was my first. Eternal Sonata is another one I see you've played, co-op'd and loved that one too.

Anywho I'm just glad you liked Graces f and the characters. Who'd you like the most? I played Asbel, Sophie, and Richard, they never ever got boring. I loved the whole group though. Also have you ever tried a Tales game multiplayer? If you can find someone willing to sit, play, and get invested into a 60 hour game with you, its just the best lol.

I have a very odd relationship with Xillia. I loved the first half, and then absolutely despised the second half. Something told me to play it again though, and when I was able to skip all the awful fanboy dialogue about how cool the villains are and I knew what to expect from the latter half of the boss fights, I found it to be incredibly enjoyable! I actually got the platinum in all 3 regions, and I think about doing a 4th run just for fun.

I haven't been playing much at all. I've actually been busy writing a series of novels. It's just for fun - I won't do anything with them - but it's taken a lot of time. Last night I started Final Fantasy X though. 20 years ago I got to Mi'ihen Highroad before just losing interest... we'll see if I'm able to stick with it this time. I see you're quite a fan of it

Certainly interesting. I discovered their existence around 2005. But back in 1993-94 I was only 7-8 years old and gaming on my NES console. Though the wiki page for Hotel Mario was right; that game... eh... was bad but I told myself to play through to see what it was about and I did. Controls were a bit janky for Hotel Mario. And the animation for the Zelda titles... wow... western animation from the 1990s...

I played through them the whole night and am currently running on only 4 hours sleep. I'm actually supposed to be at work but I "called in sick". Though I woke up after four hours with a bad cough so... technically true?

As for my collection, born in 1987, gamer since 1990-91. So I've seen the evolution of video games. It wasn't until around my high school years that I started getting into PC gaming through old friends I've made in life, and especially my two female childhood best friends/life partners (without marriage being an issue, lol). Half my Japanese collection is heavily influence for my love of Japanese anime and manga.

Watashi wa nihongo no chishiki ga kagira rete imasuga, juubun ni ryuuchoudearu to wa kangae rarete imasen. (I have a limited knowledge of Japanese, but not considered fluent enough.) Half the time I do rely on translations...

Hey I'm big on a lot of JRPGs not just Xenoblade! I finished Xenoblade 3 a month after its release, I liked it, but not over the other XC games. I'mma wait til they release all the expansion DLC to try it again. That's what I did for Xenoblade 2... after 3 years after beating XC2, and it was really fun to revisit it again with the extra content. XC1 is my fav but I haven't played it since the original back around 2012-something... I no-lifed that game during the summer when I was out of school, very fond memories of that. I'm interested in trying the Switch version someday to see how it holds up.
Is Xenoblade your favorite or something? I think its #3 for me after Tales of and Trails series.

Yeah, I bought my capture card because it offered the maximum quality for the types of signals it accepts. Of course, those signals themselves are imperfect. I guess I'm in the middle; I want the highest quality I can get, but I'm also a bit of a "purist" in that I only want the native signal the console accepts. Not that RGB isn't totally and completely awesome
