The Arena in MoA is incredibly difficult. It took me more tries than I'd care to admit to finish it up, even using a PLUS file. The top 15 or so Arena guys are all PLUS pilots too. I think. It's been quite awhile since I've played through the original trilogy.

2 was my first ever Armored Core, though I never finished one until I bought 3 for myself. To this day I still think 3 and Silent Line are the peak of the PS2 era entries, though I could be a bit biased.

I saw your status that you want to play the original Panzer Dragoon! You may already know this, but Panzer Dragoon Orta (which I see you also have) has the original Panzer Dragoon game buried in it. If you beat it on any difficulty or play for 5 hours it should unlock.

Glad to hear you enjoyed Quake. I had my reservations when I first tried the shareware version on the PC way back when I was little, but I ended up enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would and got the retail version later. I remember when the community for it was coming up with all sorts of interesting mods that changed things around; I think two of the ones I remember the most vividly were ones that would let you play as various Marvel/DC superheroes and use their powers, and another that modified the player into various fantasy classes. I recall one class having a grappling hook that I would use to get around levels and it was a lot of fun.

Plus, you could play the game and use another music CD in the player and it'd play its music instead. In my case I'd usually put in a Queen CD. Was always interesting to kill monsters with Bicycle Race and Killer Queen playing in the background.

I will concede that EX is probably the best version of RCR. I had a ton of fun playing it years ago and the fact there's an unlockable customized character feature makes it even better; you can even load up characters to replace Kunio and Riki if you so wished! Still, the original is good and at least worth trying once.

I should really get the Kunio/DD collection sometime even though I probably won't touch the Double Dragon games much. I particularly didn't like 3 very well in the end.
